What the account service stores
The hosted service may process the minimum metadata needed for authentication, licensing, trial accounting, downloads and support.
- Account identifier and preferred language
- Product Plan and entitlement state
- Opaque device alias and profile display metadata
- Trial lease intervals and commercial event aliases
What is kept out of synchronization
OpenAI API credentials stay in operating-system secure storage. Tunnel identifiers, runtime aliases, project paths, project content and local runtime state are denied from customer synchronization.
When you ask ChatGPT to use a project tool, the selected result can travel through your customer-owned tunnel to OpenAI under your instruction; TunnelGPT's commercial servers do not receive that project content.
Infrastructure and rights
The website, account authority and promoted downloads use contracted hosting and distribution providers. Retention, access, correction and deletion requests are handled subject to applicable legal and accounting obligations.
